These are Alexis' FAVOURITE shoes.  She wants to wear them all the time, every day from the moment she wakes up.  So, of course I had to put together an outfit for church that she could wear them with.

Caterpillar

Alexis loves to play with stickers and color, so I've started taking some blank computer paper to Kinko's and having them bind it. Then I always have a pad to take with me and a ziploc bag full of stickers and coloured pencils. It comes in handy during church and when we're out to restaurants. Usually, Alexis just puts the stickers on randomly, but last night she made a specific pattern. When I asked her what she was doing, she told me she was making caterpillars.  Smart girl.

I love to see the temple

Grandma Susan, Alexis and I went for an afternoon outing to Temple Square. We had a delicious lunch at the Garden restaurant on the top floor of the Joseph Smith Building. Alexis loved the view of the temple:

 

After lunch, we went exploring around the temple.  Susan said that she has a picture of John as a toddler standing in this same alcove:
