Well, we finally made it to Seattle! I won't go into all of the details, but our original Brisbane-L.A. flight was canceled, so we had to fly out of Sydney instead. After a 6 hour layover in Sydney and another 6 hour layover in L.A., we finally got to Seattle 12 hours late, turning our 24 hour trip into a 36 hour trip. But, Alexis was wonderful. She barely fussed at all. In fact, at the end of the Sydney-L.A. flight when we were putting her in the baby carrier, she was fussing a little and the flight attendant walked by and said "so she does make noise after all!". We feel so blessed to have a generally happy and content baby.

ReplyDeleteWhoo Hoo!! I am so glad you made it safe and sound, Yay for Alexis what a little trooper.....I can only hope for the same good fortune when I make the trek. We hope you enjoy your trip say hello to Seattle for us, we sure miss it! Buddy is doing great by the way!
