This morning Alexis and I went fishing on Pine Lake with Nana and Ken. Alexis was so excited. At first she seemed to be a little scared of the dingy, but it was actually the life jacket that she had to wear. Once we got it properly adjusted, she was good to go.
Alexis caught her first fish just a few minutes after Ken cast the line.
She was so excited to hold the fish. She didn't want to put it down.
Alexis reeled the fish in all by herself.
Alexis caught six big fish (the limit). She was very proud of herself and so were we.
Afterwards we went out to lunch at Red Robin and Alexis got a big milkshake all to herself.
Later that night, Alexis helped Nana cook her fish.
And she ate a whole half all by herself!
