Today was a big day. We started the day off by running through the water fountain at the Gateway shopping center.
After lunch, we took a trip to the Childrens' Hospital emergency room. We usually let Alexis peel her own Cutie oranges. This time, she stuck that little green bit up her nose. We couldn't get it out.
And here she is after they used a catheter to clear her nose:
She was very excited to get a popsicle and a stuffed animal. The
doctors and nurse were very impressed with Alexis because she didn't cry
at all. They wrapped her up like a mummy (so she couldn't move her
arms), and then held her down on the bed while they stuck the catheter
up her nose. She looked scared, but she didn't cry. I'm so proud of my
brave girl.
That evening, we set up the sprinkler. It was Alexis' first time running through a sprinkler. After she got used to it, she loved it.
No more big days for a while, please.
